Privacy Policy

This policy explains how My Education Learning Program Inc. ("we," "us") handles information on the ME App learning app and the ME Cards website (together, the "Services"). The short version: the ME App and ME Cards previews keep everything on your device. We collect personal information only when a parent or guardian preorders ME Cards, we use it only to make and deliver that order, and we never sell it.

Information that stays on your device

The ME App lets a grown-up add a learner's name, an optional photo, a chosen card color, and learning progress. This information is saved only in the browser on the device you are using. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it. You can download a backup file from the Grown-ups area and restore it on another device yourself.

ME Cards previews you personalize on the ME Cards page stay in the open browser tab. They are not submitted to us and are not saved after you reload the page, unless you choose to preorder.

ME Cards preorders

When a parent or legal guardian preorders a personalized ME Cards pack, we collect:

• From you on the ME Cards page: your child's first name, the photo you choose, and the card color. Before uploading, your browser re-saves the photo as a new image, which removes hidden details such as location data.
• At checkout (through Stripe): your email address, name, and shipping address, plus payment confirmation. Stripe processes your card; we never see or store your full card number.
• Your consent: the date and time you checked the box giving us permission to use the photo and first name to print your child's cards.
• Your proof decision: when you approve your proof or ask for a change, and any note you write.

We use this information only to make your cards, email you a proof and order updates, ship your pack, answer your questions, and keep the business records the law requires. We do not use your child's photo or name for advertising, and we do not show them publicly.

Consent and the photo

Only a child's parent or legal guardian may preorder and upload a child's photo. A required checkbox asks for your permission to use the photo and first name to print the cards. You can withdraw that permission before you approve your proof by emailing us; we will cancel the order, refund your payment, and delete the photo.

Who receives your information

We share order information only with the service providers that help us fill your order, and only what each one needs: Stripe (payments), Replit (secure website hosting and private photo storage), Resend (order emails), Zapier and Google Sheets (our internal order list, which holds your child's first name, card color, your email, and your city and state, but never the photo), our printing partner (the photo, first name, and color, to print your cards), and the U.S. Postal Service (your shipping address). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Photos and proofs: deleted automatically 90 days after your pack ships, so we can reprint if something goes wrong in the mail.
• Checkouts that are not completed: the photo and details are deleted when the checkout expires, and no later than 48 hours after you started.
• Order records (name, color, contact, shipping, and payment details, without the photo): kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.

To ask us to see, correct, or delete your information sooner, email us. If your order has not yet printed, deleting the photo cancels the order.

Camera

The optional Camera magic feature asks your browser for camera permission only when you turn it on. The live picture is shown on your screen and is not uploaded. Pictures or short videos you choose to save download directly to your device. The microphone is never requested. There is no facial recognition.

Children's privacy

The ME App is designed for young children to use with a parent or caregiver. We do not collect personal information directly from children. The ME App itself sends nothing to us. For ME Cards preorders, a child's first name and photo come only from a parent or legal guardian who gives consent, and we use them only to make that child's cards, as described above. Grown-up settings sit behind a simple adult check.

No accounts, ads, or tracking

The Services have no sign-up, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to deliver and secure the website. Stripe's checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
